‘Tis the Season. . . You know how the rest of that goes. We are rapidly approaching the Holiday season again. My question to you is what will be the Greatest Gift of all for you. In these economically challenging times we find ourselves running in circles trying to get money so that we can provide a Merry Christmas to our love ones. Is your greatest gift materialistic or is it filled with LOVE and HOPE? In the hustle and bustle of everything have we forgotten the true meaning of Christmas?
You see when we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas in our hearts; we are celebrating the First Coming of Christ. This gift from God was such a GREAT gift that we Celebrate it 2000 years later.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, (14) “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
I think that sometimes we forget that Christmas is a day for us to Celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. God sent His son to save our souls and to bring Joy to a pitiful world. This year I challenge you that instead of worrying about the materialistic aspect of the season plan a purposeful and meaningful day. Give with the Heart of Christ but Love with the Life of the Lord.
Until Next Time
