And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. Isaiah 54:13

Things in life may not always be the way we want them to be but knowing who God is in our life can bring great peace.  Peace on the outside comes from knowing God on the inside.  The Lord promises this as a result of being taught of Him.  It’s time that we live our lives without chaos.

There is a lot going on around us but we must make a conscious effort to learn the ways of God.  How do you do that, you ask?  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding, in ALL of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).  Your believing in God is a direct link to great peace.  You’ve seen the bumper stickers that state “Know God, know peace; No God, no peace”. Well you may feel that no one really cares or understands you.  But God cares for real.  He knows all there is to know about you.  He knows about your hopes, dreams, failures and fears.  He promised that He would never leave you and never forsake you.   He just wants to be in relationship and involved in your life.  Don’t leave Him hanging.

God loves you and likes you!  We have heard people say,  “I have to love you but I don’t have to like you.”  How foolish!   God is waiting to hear you pray. He gets a kick out of you asking questions about the Bible. He loves when you share your gifts and talents and He wants you to understand the reality of His presence. Soak in every opportunity you get to learn about the Lord and you are guaranteed everlasting peace. Philippians Chapter 4, verses 7-9 state: “Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.  And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable.  Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.  Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me (GOD) – everything you heard from me and saw me doing.  Then the God of peace will be with you. PEACE OUT!”
