A BLANK CHECK

The Bible makes it clear that it is a blessing to give, so what I would love to give to the readers today is a Blank Check. Please permit me to describe the check to you and you can fill it in for whatever your need might be.

The check is endorsed by Jesus Christ, Himself. You do know that He has unlimited resources and wealth untold. The check is written directly to you. It is personal and it is a gift.

But the check begins with the words of the 23rd Psalm. “The Lord is my ________,” and whatever you need, you fill it in. If peace is what you need today, fill in “the Lord is my peace.” The Bible tells me that the peace that God gives will pass all understanding. In other words He’ll give you – blow your mind peace!

If it’s joy you need, fill in your check. The Lord is my joy. Now, know that joy is not happiness. Happiness is based on something happening. But joy comes from the power of God within. You can have His joy without having a new car, a new home or a pocketful of money. You do know that the joy that I have, the world did not give, nor can it take it away.

It just might be that you need strength. Fill in your check, the Lord is my strength. It is amazing how God will strengthen you when you’re weak, keep you going when you feel like giving up, and pick you up when you’re lying flat. Now, that’s some strength. ?There is so much more that you can place on this check, and it be provided for you by the Lord. Joy, peace, strength, hope, healing, deliverance, comfort and love. So write your check and enjoy the benefits it provides.

There’s one thing that I must tell you before you can cash this check – you must have an account with the bank. You must already have accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as your Savior. It’s your acceptance of the work of Calvary that will open up your account. You must first be born again!
So, if you are born again, cash your check. If you are not born again, it is time for you to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and open that blessed account. See you at the bank!
